What does an ECU flash actually do?
An ECU flash adjusts fueling, ignition, and throttle maps to improve performance, smoothness and rideability.

Will this fix snatchy throttle?
Yes — one of the main improvements is smoother throttle response, especially at low RPM.

Do I need a tune if I’ve changed my exhaust?
In most cases, yes. Exhaust changes can affect fueling, and a proper tune ensures the bike runs correctly and safely.

Is this better than a Power Commander?
Yes. ECU flashing allows full control over the bike’s systems, rather than adding a piggyback solution.

Can you tune for my specific mods?
Yes — every tune is adjusted based on your setup and riding needs.

How long does it take?
We aim for a 24-hour turnaround from receiving your ECU.

What postage should I use?
We recommend using a tracked or next-day service for peace of mind.

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we regularly work with customers outside the UK. Return shipping will vary depending on location.

🧾 ORDERING & PROCESS

How do I order an ECU flash?
Simply place your order through the website, then send your ECU to us with a note including your bike details and modifications.

What information do I need to include?
Include:

  • Bike model & year

  • Exhaust setup

  • Air filter / intake mods

  • Any specific issues or requests

This allows us to tailor the tune to your exact setup.

Do I need to remove the ECU myself?
Yes. The ECU needs to be removed from the bike and posted to us. Most bikes are straightforward and only take a few minutes.

Returns & Refunds Policy By purchasing from our store, you agree to the following terms regarding returns and refunds: No Returns on Most Items We do not accept returns on most items sold in our store. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product meets their requirements before completing a purchase. If you are unsure about a product, we strongly advise contacting us for clarification before buying. Exceptions & Restocking Fees In certain cases, we may accept returns at our discretion, but this must be pre-approved by us in writing. If a return is accepted, a restocking fee may apply. The fee will be deducted from the refund amount and is determined based on the item’s condition and our processing costs. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods If an item is found to be faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You must notify us within a reasonable timeframe and provide evidence of the issue. Exclusions Custom-made or special-order items are strictly non-returnable. Items that have been used, installed, or are not in their original packaging cannot be returned. How to Request a Return (If Applicable) Contact us at info@wizperformance.co.uk with your order number and reason for the return request. If approved, return instructions will be provided, and the item must be sent back in its original condition. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
